At On the Fly, we recognize that you are busy. Our mission is to make a better everyday for you and your pet. We have purposely designed our business to be a small, client-driven pet sitting service, based entirely upon positive person-to-pet relations. By offering 100% customization, we will always meet the personal needs of our clients and their pets. We achieve your goals by listening to your specific pet needs, and conducting our services in the most professional, yet socially responsible business way.
Note: If we are only house sitting, the principles of our mission statement and To Be Contract still apply.
To Be Contract
When I managed sales teams in the medical industry, I made each employee sign a To Be contract. The contract was a list of values that each employee promised to be each day, no matter the circumstance. This was an effective tool, which empowered each person to be his or her very best. With this in mind, I publicly promise To Be the following for our clients:
- Your house and pet will be treated like my own.
- In all situations, I will always act in the best interest of you, your home, and pet.
- I will never lie, cheat or steal.
- No one is perfect. If I make mistakes, I will take full responsibility and hold myself accountable.
- Your dog will never be at risk by a large group of dogs -- we purposely limit the number of dogs we care for.
- If we can not meet your needs, we will help you find the right person for you.
- If you are not fully satisfied with our services, you will receive an apology and 100% of your money back.

Safety and Preparedness
People often say if something goes wrong, you want Mark by your side. The short list; I have stood face to face with Brown Bears and Grizzlies, survived volcano eruptions, and swam with Piranha. Am I crazy? No. I just enjoy adventures in wild places. In all of my adventures, neither clients nor myself have ever been injured -- be prepared and safety first. So, in addition to our mission statement, your pet safety is taken very seriously.
