What a week of pet sitting! Maya and I spent fives nights in the mountains of New Hampshire. We walked, swam, fly-fished, took a few naps, and had plenty of quiet time together. We caught wild Brook Trout, saw turkey's, a moose and an osprey. On the last day, we even went to the medical clinic together. Huh? Maya is fine, not injured at all. In a freak accident, this fly-fishing guide (me) slipped on a rock and broke his ankle. Shortly after hearing a loud crack, Maya and I walked/gimped two hours back to my car and drove three hours home. The following morning, x-rays confirmed a broken bone, and as you can see, I am in a boot for 6-8 weeks -- but still very capable of pet sitting.
